Product Description
Vapor Smoothing, also known as chemical vapor polishing, is an advanced post-processing method used to enhance the surface quality of 3D printed plastic parts. This technique exposes printed components to a controlled vapor environment that melts the outermost layer, creating a glossy, sealed surface that resembles injection-molded parts.
At TECHNO CNC, we utilize vapor smoothing to dramatically improve the aesthetic quality, water resistance, and mechanical performance of components printed in FDM, MJF, and SLS technologies. It is especially effective for parts made from ABS, TPU, and Nylon, making them ideal for both functional prototyping and end-use production.
Our process is environmentally controlled to ensure uniformity and minimal dimensional change, while preserving key functional tolerances.
