Hinged syphon elbow for draining condensate from steam-heated rolls, cylinders and dryers. It replaces a crudely bent stationary pipe with a proper design that uses two straight pipes, one at each end. Being hinged, it can be inserted and withdrawn safely through the rotary joint, and it closes onto a leak-proof seat by its own weight inside the roll. Made from gunmetal with a stainless valve insert, or fully from stainless steel bar.
