Baffle-type separator that removes suspended water droplets from steam or compressed air. Inside the larger body the flow slows down and droplets strike the baffles and drain away, without being picked up again. Drier steam improves heat transfer and plant efficiency; in air lines it protects tools and workpieces. Also reduces erosion and corrosion of valves, traps and pipes, with low pressure drop over a wide range of velocities.
