Compact wafer-type disc check valve that stops reverse flow automatically. Fits between two pipe flanges, works in any orientation and gives tight shut-off. The spring-assisted disc lowers pressure drop and greatly reduces water hammer. Lighter and cheaper to install than conventional check valves, with a choice of metal or soft seats. Recommended after steam traps that drain into flooded return lines.
