Compact thermodynamic steam trap with a single moving part: a hardened disc that opens for cold condensate and air, then snaps shut on flash steam for tight closing. All-stainless construction resists corrosion, the hardened seat and disc give long life, and the design stands up well to water hammer. Works across changing loads and pressures and discharges condensate close to steam temperature. Ideal for steam main drip points and tracer lines.
