Ball float steam trap that drains condensate continuously as fast as it forms. A float opens the main valve as condensate level rises and closes it tightly when the condensate has cleared; the valve always sits under a water seal, so live steam is not lost. Steady, modulating discharge avoids pressure swings in heat exchangers and air heating coils. Stainless steel internals, in-line horizontal connections, and internals can be serviced without disturbing the piping. Steam lock release prevents steam locking where condensate is lifted to the trap.
